By Matthew Kerridge

If you are renovating your kitchen, then you are probably like the majority of the population, overwhelmed. But there are ways to get around this and ultimately give you great results. This one of the eight reasons why you should go to kitchen showrooms.

For one thing, the kitchen showroom is equipped with various styles of kitchens that could very well end up being the one of your dreams. Secondly, not only are you able to see it and feel it, you'll also be able to put yourself in it and imagine this particular one being installed in your home.

They can also be a great help with regards to the placement of appliances. For those people who have lived in a home that has an original kitchen, it can really open their eyes. The truth is, most of these kitchens were put together without much thought put into it. However, today there are many professionals that work together to produce very efficient and functional kitchens.

So, along with design, you'll also be able to see the various materials that are used in the construction of the cabinets. You get to see and feel firsthand, whether you like wood, and if so, which particular type of wood. You can also benefit from learning about the different stains and colors that will blend in well with your overall scheme in that particular room.

In those kitchen showrooms, you can also pay close attention to the different types of cabinets and drawers that can really maximize storage in your space. Today's kitchens are efficient, using up every square inch possible.

You will learn the cost of different kitchens and materials that are used in these rooms. Therefore, you will be able to make intelligent decisions regarding your choices, vis-a-vis with your budget. More often than not, homeowners are usually misinformed regarding the prices and realize this when their dreams, cannot be fulfilled because their budget is too small.

Having said all that, it is recommended that you visit as many kitchen showrooms as you can. Not only will you be confident about your decisions, you'll also know that you are getting the most for your money, because you will have shopped around. Furthermore, you will end up being happier with your choices because you will know exactly what is available and exactly what you can pay. - 24553

Drinking Wine In Moderation will Provide You With Health Benefits.

By Gary Rogers

At one time or another we have all uttered those words -To Your Health- as we raised our glasses in a salute to a special person. It is a well known fact that drinking wine, both red and white varieties, in moderation will be beneficial to your health especially when you are dealing with the heart.

What effect will drinking wine have on us? Wines especially red wine, are rich in flavonoids and recently researchers have compiled some information and statistics that these flavonoids are in fact beneficial to your health. Flavonoids have antioxidant properties which cause the body to defend against viruses and carcinogens resulting in helping your body fight against cancer and heart disease.

Unfortunately it doesn't mean that you go out and drink a whole bottle of wine. The operative word in this case is moderation; you have to keep the consumption of wine down. To drink too much then any benefits of the flavonoids and antioxidants that you would have had with one glass or two will be reversed. Not all red wines have high levels of flavonoids and antioxidents. Petit Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir seem to have elevated levels of the chemicals.

Many health providers promote a one or two four ounce glass of wine per day for men and one four ounce glass for woman. I do know many women who would dispute that discrepancy for women. So adding a glass or two of red or white wine to your diet can be beneficial.

One of the lowest rates for heart disease is found in the French people. They have been making and drinking wine throughout history so there has to be something said to the fact that red wine has health benefits. Wine from the French wine regions are shown to be very tannic and have superior levels of procyandin (an Antioxidant) than other wine areas around the world.

The dryer red wines such as Merlots or red Zinfandels contain fewer flavonoids but more than white wines. Just because these wine are a little light on the flavonoids does not mean that they will not benefit your health if you drink them in moderation. - 24553

Bingo Wings-Supplements That Could Help You Reduce Them

By Katherine Crawford M.S.

Every woman would like an edge when it comes to getting rid of bingo wings. And supplement companies are willing to offer that "alleged" edge through the supplements they sell. But most of them don't work!

Now, having said that, there are some supplements that are worth their weight in gold. And although they won't reduce bingo wings like magic, they will definitely make life easier for you.

Thus, here are 5 supplements that can help you get rid of bingo wings:

1. Argentinean tea. Your best bet here is yerba mate. I have not yet found a more powerful loose leaf tea on the market. This is probably the single best nutritional aid you can take to help reduce bingo wings. Just make sure you start off with small doses.

2. Loose leaf dragon well. Loose leaf dragon well tea does a great job at providing controlled increases in energy while improving mood. I strongly recommend that you stay away from bagged tea as it's not as strong and is usually of a lower quality.

3. Glucosamine sulfate. Although glucosamine won't have a direct and immediate impact on reducing those bingo wings, it will help you prevent joint damage. And once joints wear out there is no way to replace them.

4. All natural bars. You should never rely on energy bars as your main food source. However, they can get you out of a bind with minimal impact on those bingo wings. The key here is to only have them in emergencies, never let yourself starve.

5. Concentrated fish pills. Pills with concentrated fish oil do provide health and fat burning benefits, the research is clear here. However, taking too many pills is NOT better. In fact, it can decrease health. Also, pay close attention to nutrition labels as most manufacturers do not state EPA and DHA content.

The key to proper supplementation to reduce bingo wings is to have realistic expectations. Please do not assume that any single supplement is going to work wonders. The only exception here is yerba mate since it's so powerful. Nevertheless, nothing can substitute a balanced diet that controls insulin and intense workouts. - 24553

Why Invest In A Stovetop Espresso Maker?

By Jason Smith

Making the perfect espresso in the comfort of your own home has never been so simple as it is with a stovetop espresso maker. This type of coffee-brewing machine can allow you to make professional-style espresso anytime, and it will cost you significantly less than it would if you were to get it from a coffee shop or restaurant.

Stovetop espresso makers come in most different sizes. Some are small and make only 2 cups, while others can brew up to twelve whole cups. Most stovetop espresso makers are made entirely of stainless steel. Some fancier models have a porcelain top and a stainless steel bottom. It all depends on how much you want to spend on your espresso maker.

There are three parts to a stovetop espresso maker. The bottom chamber holds the cold water. The middle section holds the filter and the ground espresso. The top part holds the freshly brewed espresso. You only need to fill the bottom section with cold water. Do not fill above the steam valve. Next, add the ground espresso coffee in the basket of the middle section. Follow directions on your can of coffee for the precise amount to use per cup. Screw top on and set the espresso maker on the stove. Use low to medium heat for brewing.

Steam will build up and push the water through the filter once the pot gets hot enough. The coffee will then fill up the top area of the espresso maker. You will be able to hear bubbling noises, which will let you know that the espresso is being made. When there is no more water in the bottom section of the espresso maker, the pot of espresso is just about ready to drink.

Depending on how the number of cups you have made, the process should only take a few minutes. Be sure to let the pot sit for around 30 seconds after you have turned off the heat. Remove the top and stir the coffee. Now is the time to put in any flavor additives that you enjoy, such as vanilla or cream. Now you can enjoy that freshly brewed cup of espresso in the right in your own home. And the price is perfect.

Be sure to maintain your espresso maker in good condition by cleaning it often to get rid of any internal build up. You want to keep your stovetop espresso maker in good condition and ready to brew up a good cup every time! - 24553

Natural Colon Cleansing: Best Process to Enhance Life

By Jen Lakeshield

At the time when we are troubled by constant headaches, constipation, fatigue, excessive weight, low energy, it becomes essential to go through colon cleansing. Colon or the large intestine is an internal organ where waste is stored. Owing to daily exposure to toxins, pollution, heavy metals, parasites our colon can get ruined. Ruined colons are extremely risky as it is a famous phrase that "death begins in the colon". Therefore, colon cleansing has been established as a requirement by worldwide scientists. There are two kinds of colon cleansing techniques, first is the auto-cleansing or natural cleansing and the other colon cleansing technique is colon irrigation. Natural colon cleansing includes oral ingestion of products such as enemas, laxatives, enzymes, powders and anti-parasite capsules. Colon irrigation method includes a colonic hygienist or a colon therapist who makes use of a machine that fills 20 gallons of water with the assistance of a tube installed in your rectum. When the water goes into your colon the hygienist usually massages the abdomen and then removes the water using a different tube.

Yet, colon irrigation process is risky; natural colon cleansing method is more suitable. If natural colon cleansing is implemented on an every day basis then evils caused because of the colon can be prohibited. Prior to getting introduced with the natural colon cleansing benefits, we will at first delve into the health hazards caused due to a damaged colon.

Health hazards of a damaged colon:

Constipation happens when the excreta goes through the colon in a very slow pace, due to this the colon absorbs a lot of water making the excreta hard and dry resulting in unbalanced stressed bowel movements.

Fatigue is the feeling of extreme exhaustion and lack of energy. Skin troubles involve irritation, acne and signs of before time aging like wrinkles.

We tend to yearn for our most favorite food items, though; they are actually bad for health.

Huge weight gain result due to reduced metabolism and accumulation of body waste. When toxics are amassed in the colon, a person has to face horrible headaches.

When plenty of gas gets accumulated in the colon, the result can be abdominal bloating. Holding up the excretion of waste can result in extreme built up of gas in the colon.

These are a few mild health complaints occurring because of a contaminated colon. However, upon neglecting these health complaints, danger of severe health hazards cannot be shunned. Hence, it is necessary that colon cleansing is undergone within time.

Why choose natural colon cleansing?

There are a lot of grounds to prefer natural colon cleansing. First and foremost, it is the most suitable technique of colon cleansing. Natural colon cleansing can be undertaken by the intake of green tea, enemas, laxatives, enzymes, powders and anti-parasite capsules. It is also the low cost or free technique of colon cleansing. There are very less chances of blunders or any sorts of side effects. Therefore, selecting natural colon cleansing method is advantageous and cost-effective as well.

Health benefits of natural colon cleansing

Arresting constipation, losing about 10-30 pounds of weight, averting wrinkles, acne, pimples, diabetes and giving you a lively, young and striking life are a few of the benefits of natural colon cleansing method. - 24553

Interesting Information About Today's Kitchen

By Matthew Kerridge

There's a lot of interesting information about today's kitchen that many people may not fully be aware of. For one, the kitchen as we know it today owes its direct development to the first efforts undertaken to move the open campfire from outdoors into a room in the home. For another, kitchen design can be partly attributed to the efforts undertaken to improve industrial work processes.

For much of human history, the kitchen as we know it was not a factor in most people's lives. Instead, outside of those wealthy enough to have a room in a home dedicated to food preparation, the open fire was considered all that was needed. Those wealthy enough, such as in Greek and Roman society in the ancient world, were the only ones able to afford a room devoted strictly to preparing of food.

Instead, they concentrated more on the cook pots and utensils that were used to cook food over an open flame rather than a permanent room in a home, such as it was, that was dedicated to food preparation. The Romans were probably the first people to attempt to bring kitchens to the masses when their governments constructed very large public kitchens for the benefit of the commonalty.

This lack of a separate room in a home was pretty much a fact of life for much of society outside of the wealthy classes throughout most of human history. Colonial Americans living in log cabins out on the frontier first began to look at their cabins with an eye towards marking off a separate area where food could be prepared. It was usually an area next to the fireplace.

Perhaps most of all in those days, kitchens and their development can be traced in large part to the technological improvement in design and manufacture of cook stoves and ranges. These appliances and their development provided much of the impetus in kitchen design along with improvements in indoor plumbing, both of which made it possible made it possible to designate a separate room for cooking.

Like just about anything else that has its origins in initial creation of mass production techniques during the Industrial Revolution, home technologies such as the appliance that go into kitchens soon became ever more common for the lower and middle classes which meant that they could begin to consider setting aside a separate room in the home that could be entirely devoted to food preparation.

Additionally, efforts undertaken by scientists and engineers to improve the efficiency of work processes are partly responsible for many design touches found in kitchens today. The thinking was that women who had more efficient kitchens would spend less time in the home cooking and more time working in the factory. Some of these kitchens were very small and compact but highly efficient.

Indeed, the improvement in the ability to bring electricity, indoor plumbing and other now-commonplace technological developments led to the rise of the kitchen throughout the 20th century to what it has become today, when even the smallest and least expensive of apartments or homes may have an extensive room dedicated strictly for the preparing of foods. - 24553

Four Fantastic Ideas To A Traditional Kitchen

By Matthew Kerridge

The 21st century ushered in minimalism with ultra modern designs which are sometimes nice, but in a particular spaces in the house only. My opinion is that a kitchen should look warm, cozy, inviting and a place where you feel uninhibited. A place where grandma would look and feel the part. It is possible to have such an elegant traditional kitchen with a little creativity and at a fraction of the cost of a modern looking one.

Here are 4 ideas to help you with your plans:

Idea One: The first thing you could do to get that cozy country feel, is to accessorize your kitchen with objects that look dated. Replace your glass jars with antique looking storage tins, place some wicker baskets around, hang a copper pot or pan on a wall. String some dried vegetables and hang them in a corner. You need to think earth with natural looking vases or pots. Get a terracotta pot and store your potatoes on a shelf somewhere. Do your windows with blinds that also look old fashioned.

Idea Two: Wood just makes a room look intimate. It makes you want to spend time in it. Therefore it will be stunning if you could source a good oak. It is extremely durable and always looks most elegant when contrasted with old type dcor. If you don't have enough money to redo your entire kitchen cabinets, then only have oak doors installed on your existing shelves. No one will know the difference.

Idea Three: Lighting can also play a pivotal role in setting the stage for a country kitchen. Have small recess lights placed under your cabinets to highlight your workspace. Or have tiny lights fitted into your cabinets if they have glass doors. This will create soft tones and can accentuate a collectors piece or just something that is dear to you. Don't be afraid to play with pastel colored light bulbs, a soft lime or yellow and even a soft pink can instantly change your kitchen into a beautiful work of art.

Useful idea Four: Your flooring will also set the tone of your kitchen. Here you can opt for natural stone. It will instantly give a country feel. Look into slate with a darker shade than your oak finish as it will compliment your cabinets beautifully. You could also have them cut into smaller slabs and do up a wall in your kitchen with the same slate. It actually looks spectacular if you slate the wall behind where your stove and hob is standing. Here one can imagine that you are cooking from a fireplace. It creates a great focal point to the kitchen as well.

The idea of a traditional kitchen is giving it a personality of it's own. It must invite you in and keep you there for hours on end. It should be a place where the family have their most fun. So a last tip is to let a family member give you an object that has a lot of sentimental value. Have it mounted or give it a special stand and place it in the kitchen on it's own specially made shelf or space. They will love you for it and will always tend to gravitate towards the best room in the house! - 24553

Know How to Buy Tableware and Save Lots

By Oscar Harrington

At some time or another all of us are in the market for tableware or cutlery. If you would like to know how to save money on tableware and cutlery, you should read this article.

Television ads and those shopping channels actually have some good deals on knives. However, make sure the warranties are sound and you are buying a name brand product.

Ask a lot of questions and make sure it's not a knockoff of a popular brand. Good knives cut everything like butter but bad ones can't cut anything. You will end up hurting your hand.

For both tableware and cutlery, yard sales and flea markets can be a great source. Make sure that cutlery is a genuine stainless steel product, or that tableware is not made of some base metal imitation of a sterling silver or stainless steel product line.

Check for gouges or nicks in the blades of cutlery to make sure they won't break on you quickly after you purchase them. This is especially important for used ones products.

Moving sales, salvaged product stores are two great places to find good deals on tableware and cutlery. Remember to negotiate too, because you can always knock off a few bucks.

With knives, always wait for sales because they happen regularly and the discounts are deep. Don't ever buy knives on impulse because you will be paying a big markup.

Beware of mall demonstrations with high-pitched salesmanship. They have to pay commissions to the salesperson somehow and it usually comes out of our pockets.

Ad campaigns with too good to be true promises are to be avoided. They always stage the situation to make the cutlery better than what it can truly do.

Telemarketers selling products over the telephone can hoodwink you in a minute. Avoid even talking to them and if you do start talking, tell them no politely but stay firm.

Never say yes to the door to door salesperson the first time you see the product. It will look interesting, but chances are good that the price she offered you is high. - 24553

How To Achieve Natural Weight Loss

By Diana Whitlow

The following paragraphs summarize the work of natural weight loss experts who are completely familiar with all the aspects of raw food diet weight loss. Heed their advice to avoid any unwelcome surprises.

We all need to exercise, and most of us do enough exercise already to be losing weight, we just have not been told about the proper techniques. Diet pill effects can range from helping you burn fat to building muscle and helping you break through the dreaded plateaus you'll face. The key to finding a quality, safe diet pill is to do a little research, talk with your doctor and find the right diet supplement to match your goals and weight loss needs.

Reduce the foods you eat to lose weight based on a particular food. Some food types promise rapid weight loss in a short period of time, but only work because they severely restrict calories. I exercise, I eat healthy, I stay active and love doing physical things. I weigh myself when I go to the gym, which isn't often in the summer.

Once you begin to move beyond basic background information, you begin to realize that there's more to raw food diet weight loss than you may have first thought.

Dieting is the process of eating select foods to influence your nutrition. For instance, you may consume green tea to help speed up metabolism- which will lead you to become more efficient in digesting and using nutrients or minerals. Dieters may actually require weight loss pills to help them get through the difficult weight reduction process. This is contrary to the common perception that a person who needs pills to achieve weight loss success is weak.

If you don't worry about your weight, they feel more at ease since they are less concerned about what they eat or about the lack of exercise they get. BUT, if you begin to make healthier choices and start losing weight they will feel a discomforting voice inside telling them to keep up with you, to lose weight, and to start taking better care of themselves. How many weight loss diet exercise videos do you have at home? Are you still on these programs?

Dance exercises work on more little muscle groups, they are not working only on certain muscles, so this way the whole fat tissue disappears at once, not separately as in the case of other weight loss exercises. Like in the case of any other physical exercises, in dance you need the advice of an expert. It needs protein, carbohydrates, fibre, good fat, vitamins and minerals to function properly.

Of course, it's impossible to put everything about natural weight loss into just one article. But you can't deny that you've just added to your understanding about raw food diet weight loss, and that's time well spent. - 24553

Buying Kitchenware Cheap

By Jessica Hayton

If you ever want to move out of the house, you will need to buy dishes eventually. Check out this post if you are looking to not spend a bundle on something that you almost have to buy.

Like I said, no one really needs to replace them but they do. That's why buying them from salvage stores represent a great deal because they are just like new.

Never buy dishes from stores that specialize in dishes. Go to those hardware stores that almost never have any selection because when they need to clear out the stale inventory, you get crazy savings.

You can often make your own dishes with ceramic at a cheap price. Those that have the time can just go to those classes and try to make a beautiful dish that you can call your own.

Yard sales are a great place to find dishes. While the electric cookware might be super dirty and require scrubbing, the dishes are easy to clean and make new again.

Remember never to buy any dishes with cracks even if the price is super cheap. With water hitting the crack all the time, it will break really soon.

Those that don't have much money should just buy the biggest dish and save themselves storage space as well as money. You can always use a bigger dish in place of a small one.

Never go to warehouses like Costco or Sam's Club for dishes because they are usually sold in bulk. While the per unit cost might be low, you almost never need that many unless you have parties often.

The fastest way to find glitches in dishes is to run your finger around it. For glasses, the bottom and mouth of the glass is especially important.

Thrift shops that sell clothing and everyday household products are actually a great place to get dishes because no one ever expects to find them there. - 24553

Food Allergies

By Charlie Monaghan Carter

Food allergies are quite common in children and in some cases adults too. An allergy is a negative reaction to any particular substance and food allergy refers to the adverse response that the body might have to a particular food. The most common food allergies in children are that of milk, peanuts and eggs and in adults it is fish, eggs, peanuts, shellfish and fish.

People can have all kinds of reactions to foods that they are allergic to, ranging from nausea and sickness to swelling throats and rashes and everything in between. However, there are some cases where if left untreated for too long, nothing can be done, and the allergy results in death.

The most common food allergies that we hear about are that of dairy products, eggs, peanuts, tree nut, seafood, shellfish, wheat and soy. In the world of allergy study these are known as the "big eight" as they are the most common. However, the allergens in these foods (as with any food) differ from country to country because of the different conditions in which they are nurtured.

The most common method of testing whether or not a person has an allergy to a given foodstuff is a skin prick test. Another common test to determine this is a full blood test.

When someone is having a serious allergic reaction the best drug to use is usually epinephrine applied using an auto-injector, this helps them to overcome the systemic reaction. However, as far as a permanent cure to allergies goes, there is no long term solution, the only way to avoid the reaction is to avoid the food that causes it. It is unfortunate, but that's just the way it is. People who already suffer from a disease of some kind have been found to be more prone to developing these allergies. - 24553

Christmas Sweets- Gift In A Rush

By Michael Parker

The Christmas holiday is probably the only season in a year where people dash and rush to be somewhere or buy something. It is evident that once this time arrives, people come and go in the mall and beat the rush hour traffic to be at home in time for dinner. Moreover, there are some that even a few days or even hours before Christmas eve, would drive as fast as they are allowed to, just to be present in homes of parents, relatives, and friends in another city.

But Christmas always involves gifts. This means to say that no matter how busy or lacking with time people are, they must still attempt to bring home presents to their loved ones. Gifts can be as simple as a take out food or as intricate as a hand-made beaded necklace. What's important, however, is that this Christmas people should remember to give love and joy to the people they care about.

There are times though that no matter how apt and fast people are, they still wouldn't be able to fully bring home a present without special help or a little bit of extra time. Home Espresso Machines Make Life Easier

By Martin Lawyer

What could be better than making your own espresso? There is nothing better than a great cup of espresso. Making espresso at home is not only an big money saver, and it will be all that much more better because you made it yourself. But before going out and looking at home espresso machines, there are a few things to keep in mind.

Even marginal home espresso machines will cost you a pretty penny. A low-end machine is not entirely reliable and may struggle to maintain proper pressure. Machines that are within the medium price range can be effective enough as long as they are powerful enough to put out enough pressure. These can make great ups of espresso, depending on the model. If you are a true coffee lover, then you are going to want to look at higher end models, which are worth the investment and also include any parts required to keep the pressure steady and they come with any accessories as well. Each brand offers different boiler and heat exchanger options, so you need to pay close attention to those as well. With these machines, cost is a good scale to work with when comparing quality.

A good grinder is the core item needed when considering what type of unit to purchase. Espresso must be ground properly and immediately before it is used. The beans you get for home espresso machines are better if bought before ground up because many models do have grinders for you to use, and pre-ground beans are cheaper than those that have already been grinded. If purchasing a home espresso machine without a grinder attached, it is a good idea for you to invest in a separate grinder.

After you have ground up the espresso beans, you must tamper them into the filter basket with adequate pressure. Almost all home espresso machines come with a tamper. Unless you are obsessed with your espresso, it is best to just stick with the tamper that comes with your machine.

If you want to be able to make latte or cappuccino, you should invest in a steam wand and pitcher. The steam wand froths the milkwhile heating it to the required temperature, while at the same time creating the foam. The steam wand is standard as the boiler actually affects the foaming process. A larger boiler will produce the proper amount of steam, heating and frothing the milk.

You will not be able to pull yourself away from your home espresso machine once you have purchased it. These machines can save you tons of money, and the espresso is top-notch. - 24553

The Three Secrets to Drop off Fat Naturally

By Joen Devenport

1) Prepare Practical Goals

You must set some virtual goals to work for. It is crucial for us to view results and get a sense of achievement. When you set goals you should set both long-full term and short-full term goals.

Firstly you should have a final actual like say you want to lose 50 pounds, that is evidently a long-full term goal. A good weekly goal would be to lose 5 pounds. You don't want to start out with a goal that is chimerical because if you don't achieve it then you drop off confidence and don't feel like you are accomplishing anything so you'll get down on yourself.

You should write this down in your planner and treat it like any other important appointment you have. You may need to discuss this with your family so they know which time of the day you are busy and unavailable, if they need something during that time then they need to do it themselves. You need 3 - 5 hours a week for you; your family will need to understand. If you wish to drop off weight fast you would actually need to stay dedicated.

2) Lift Weights The secret to natural weight loss is building lean muscle. If you realize that and you work towards that particular goal then you would start to lose weight quickly. In fact lifting weights, doing aerobic exercise and having a good, healthy diet is in reality the just fast way to drop off fat. If you think you can just run on a treadmill or elliptical machine and the fat would just melt away, think over. Lean muscle is what burns the most calories and you need to life weights to create bigger muscles which will burn more calories.

3) change Your Diet This is obviously a very important piece of the puzzle if you wish to lose fat fast. Our food choices contribute directly to being overweight, obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. We all know the dangers of eating fatty foods and yet Americans still get 40% of their calories from fat. So we know that exercise is important for burning calories and our nutrition is the fuel.

You need to eat the proper foods to feed the machine and drop off weight fast. You need to Select lean meats and poultry for protein. You need protein to build your muscles which helps you to drop off fat fast as it increases your metabolism. When you are attempting to build lean muscle try out to eat about 1 gram of protein for every pound of your desired fat. So if you weight 160 pounds but you should fat 125 pounds then try to eat 125 grams of protein. - 24553

Portable Hunting & Ice Fishing Houses

By Judah R. Davis

The concept of ice fishing houses and portable canvas hunting enclosures are finally being more realized by manufacturers, and are indeed becoming something that is actually practical to use. This isn't something new however, outdoorsmen and women have been using canvas as a way to create shelter for centuries, and it's pretty clear that canvas is extremely durable, and that's what really counts in weatherproof shelters, as well as ice fishing houses.

The toughest weather conditions stand up to marine upholstery namely Aqualon Marine Canvas, a high grade canvas fabric that is made of: Vinyl Coated Polyester Canvas at 9 ounces per square yard and a two-ply polyester duck double coated with a pigmented vinyl resin on the top side. This means, TOUGH. The underside is coated with a durable water resistant finish and is usually white in color. This gives an excellent dimensional stability and weight to strength ratio.

In terms of ice fishing houses, these portable semi-permanent structures spend long periods of time, sometimes months on the ice left to weather the storms and thaws. The quality of canvas construction icehouses remains flexible in all climates as well as the color will not rub off. It is resistant to mildew, abrasions, water penetration, most petroleum products, ultra-violet rays, a wide range of acid and alkaline liquids and it will not crack, peel or harden.

The climate in the north and south both call for the canvas shelters. There are two different reasons for this, but both reasons are quite important. Believe it or not, even in the heat of the desert canvas stays cool and provides adequate shade. It even blocks out the sun while remaining breathable and permitting moisture to penetrate it's thick construction. In contrast, it stays warm and holds heat in the coldest of weather.

Such shelters can be used as hunting enclosures too. If you are concerned with them being too visible, then do not fear, as they can be camouflaged with ease! In fact it is so easy that many military organizations use these in the field. You don't need to worry about having a hunting cabin or a shack to take shelter in. All you need is the "Wall Tent", as they come in all different shapes and sizes. They will stand up to the weather and bring you through any situation.

Like all canvas enclosures, Big Wall tents are tough, and they feature heavy reinforcement, especially on their stress points. It's fairly simple to actually deploy, no matter what type of hunter you happen to be. Anyone who is interested in the great outdoors should definitely have one of these in their arsenal, as is includes many great items. These items can be a Stove Pipe Shield, zippered door, and a Sod Cloth. All of which will help anyone that thrives in the great outdoors.

Ice fishing is a most popular sport in northern regions where a simple tent pole construction allows the angler to set up the ice house in short time and store it during summer months and reuse each year with minimal space required that some big wooden/metal structures require. These spacious canvas fish houses fit on your snowmobile sled. They fold out on both sides providing enough room for four to fish comfortably. Now you can haul all your gear with ease and "pack-in" to distant fishing spots. The canvas shell features: hardware, framework and complete instructions. It is tall enough to stand up in, has two zippered doors, two large side vents with flaps, two large windows with flaps, and is available in a heavy canvas construction or a lightweight version.

Ice fishing will never quite be the same again with these ice fishing shelters, and you can actually use a generator within the tent. If you tried to use a generator inside any other tent you would run into some serious and potentially fatal problems. On top of that, these can be deployed with ease, and thy are multipurpose. Hunting, fishing, whatever it is you want to do, you can be assured that these tents will accommodate. - 24553

Which Giants Makes the Best Coffee?

By Michael Rubin

Coffee remains one of the most popular beverages in the country. It's a regular part of the day for millions of people, and it's the first thing some people look for right after they wake up. An ample stimulant, it gets people going when they need it most.

With so many styles and flavors of coffee, the options are virtually limitless. Many people have their preferred brands, but the most popular two are undoubtedly Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. With tens of thousands of locations throughout the country, these two brands are the Coke and Pepsi of the coffee world.

There are those who claim that Dunkin Donuts is better, and they're fiercely loyal to the brand. Others feel just the same way about Starbucks. Which is the better option of the two? Let's have a look.

We're going to look at Starbucks first here. They say that Starbucks could one day outnumber McDonald's in terms of locations, which goes to show the strength of the brand. Aside from their coffee, they've branched out to various foods and other drinks.

When it's all said and done though, people go to Starbucks for the coffee, not for the food. Some believe that people like the caffeine in Starbucks coffee more than anything else. There's more caffeine in a cup of Starbucks coffee than there is in a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee.

There may be less caffeine in Dunkin Donuts drinks, but many coffee drinkers have no problem with this. They don't feel that they need the caffeine kick that comes with a Starbucks coffee. They also appreciate the generous servings at Dunkin Donuts. For the same price, you can generally get a few more ounces to drink.

Dunkin Donuts clearly wins the value war between the two brands, and they also win the flavor battle. The coffee menu at Dunkin Donuts is a bit more varied, and those who like flavored coffee may prefer this.

We can now deduce that Starbucks drinks will get you going more than Dunkin Donuts coffee will, but you'll have more to drink at Dunkin Donuts. I should also mention that Dunkin Donuts prevails over Starbucks coffee in blind taste tests. Still, it's all about your own virtues when all is said and done. - 24553

Why Are Mexican Recipes and American Recipes So Different?

By Ken Kudra

Everyone knows that Mexican food is different and that Mexican food recipes are definitely not the same as American recipes. Unlike Canada, which has a culinary tradition which is quite similar to our own, America's neighbor to the south has a radically different way of cooking, with many recipes and ingredients which are unfamiliar to the American palate - but what is it that has caused such a divergence in the cuisines of the two neighboring nations?

Some Mexican Food History

There are two important reasons why Mexican food differs so greatly from the standard fare in the United States. One is historical. Unlike the United States, Mexico spent a much longer time as a Spanish colony than did the US. It is true that parts of the US were originally Spanish territories, though the Spanish colonial period lasted for a much briefer length of time here, with the influence of Spanish cuisine being pronounced mostly in regions, which were once Spanish territory, largely those bordering Mexico.

The US has a different history, being a former British colony with most of its early immigration coming from northern Europe and having different culinary traditions. This alone accounts for some of the divergence of Mexican and American cooking, since traditional Mexican recipes have a profound Spanish influence which is missing from most American cooking.

Colonists who came to Mexico from Europe came by and large from Spain and had a deep and lasting influence on what is now the nation of Mexico. Many classic Mexican recipes are either Spanish and are made much the same way as they are in Europe or are adaptations of Spanish dishes using local ingredients as substitutes for those, which were unavailable in the Americas.

Mexico has of course had significant numbers of arrivals from outside of Spain since, especially settlers from Syria and Lebanon, who brought one of their traditional dishes - shawarma with them. This has been adapted into the Mexican classic al pastor. However, the Spanish influence is stronger than any other in the Mexican kitchen is.

The US has had a much more diverse population historically, meaning that American cuisine is more of a patchwork quilt of different influences and ingredients, which is characterized by constant change. By contrast, Mexico has been able to develop its own style of cooking; but Mexican cooks do of course adapt the foods of other countries to local tastes as well as enjoying them as they are.

The Differences Local Ingredients Make

The other important factor behind the difference in the cuisines of the two countries is geographical. The Spanish had to adapt to the ingredients, which were available in Mexico, just like the pilgrims learned to cook the local produce in Massachusetts. In Mexico, ingredients like corn, chilies, avocados, pumpkins, tomatoes and others which were new to the conquistadores quickly became staples and were cooked along with old world ones like rice, coriander and olives.

This fusion of ingredients native to Mexico and those brought from Spain and the cooking methods of both old world and new is what brought Mexican food to fruition. In fact, this is probably the most popular fusion cuisine in the world, though people rarely think of Mexican food as anything but its own distinctive cuisine, which of course it is as well. From Mexican food recipes like huaraches to menudo, mole to Mexican casserole recipes, Mexican food is something with a flavor which is uniquely its own. - 24553

Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Rice In Mexican Cooking

By Ken Kudra

Rice is among the most heavily cultivated of all grains and is the cultivated crop, which is eaten by more people around the world than any other is. In much of Asia, Africa and South and Central America as well as Mexico. It is hard to imagine Mexican cuisine without rice; after corn, it is the most important staple of the Mexican diet, with a large number of Mexican rice recipes being classic examples of Mexican cooking.

As central as rice is to Mexican cooking, it is a relatively recent arrival in the grand scheme of things, having arrived in what is now Mexico with colonists and explorers from Spain and Portugal. The peoples of the new world took to the new grain with enthusiasm and rice was soon one of the most important staples in the Mexican kitchen. Some of the dishes, which are now considered to be traditional Mexican rice recipes date from the early days after rice, began to be cultivated in the Americas.

Authentic Mexican Rice Recipes

One of the best known of all Mexican rice recipes also happens to be a classic Mexican chicken recipe. Arroz con pollo or rice with chicken is Mexico's own unique version of this popular combination of ingredients. If you have gotten tired of the American version using cream of mushroom soup, give this traditional Mexican rice recipe a try next time.

This dish is a Mexican adaptation of a Spanish recipe, with some ingredients, which are native to the Americas. Tomatoes are a common ingredient in arroz con pollo, as is oregano - and in Mexico, cooks prefer to use the stronger-flavored Mexican oregano instead of Greek oregano as cooks would use in Europe. While the Spanish influence is undeniable, these small changes have made this very much a Mexican rice recipe.

Spanish Cuisine Adapts To The New World

After the Spanish began to grow rice in Mexico, it quickly became a hit, working its way into dishes, which combined old and new ingredients, with some of the results now known as authentic Mexican rice recipes. One dish, which we think of as Spanish as can be is paella, but a look at the ingredients commonly, used in this dish reveal something very interesting. For example, tomato is a common ingredient; a new world ingredient, which must inevitably have found its way into a pot of rice and seafood long before a cook in Valencia, thought to do the same.

Not only is the tomato often featured in Spanish paella from the Americas, but also bell peppers, another new world crop are also often used. Here you have an example of the cuisines of Spain and Mexico having a sort of conversation with each other across the Atlantic Ocean, with European cooks finding the new vegetables and fruits from the Americas valuable additions to their own recipes and the people of Mexico making the ingredients and recipes of Europe their own.

Another well-known traditional Mexican rice recipe is the seasoned rice, which is often served along with bean dishes and almost everything else. This recipe is very similar to what is also called "Spanish rice" but just like paella, Mexico has its own version of this ubiquitous side dish and happens to be the original home of some of its ingredients!

Rice is an incredibly important ingredient in the Mexican pantry; this oldest of old world staples has become as essential to the Mexican diet as it is in Asia, Africa and much of the rest of the globe. Like many of the ingredients introduced by Europeans and later waves of immigrants to Mexico. it has been welcomed with open arms, combined with the native ingredients of the Americas, and become something all its own - from Mexican rice recipes to soups, which include this grain, Mexican food, is a distinct cuisine unto itself and rice has been a big part of its development. - 24553

Is There an Atkins Grapefruit Diet?

By Frank Williams

The Atkins Grapefruit diet is a diet plan, not supported by the eponymous Dr. Atkins company, that plays on the fame of two diets: the grapefruit diet and the Atkins diet. However, a close look into this diet reveals that it may not be all it claims to be.

First off, it's pretty hard to any find information on the Atkins grapefruit diet plan at all. Clever people realize that when someone is carrying out a con, they will usually skim over the facts. This is what the Atkins grapefruit diet appears to be doing while trying to get people to associate it with two supposedly effective diets.

Is the Atkins Grapefruit Diet part of the Atkins Diet or recommended by the estate of the late Dr. Atkins? The answer is no, not only is there no mention of the Atkins Grapefruit Diet on the Atkins web site, but there is no fruit of any kind mentioned in the list of allowed foods in the Atkins diet Induction phase either.

The induction phase allows the following foods: Fish of all kinds. All fowl such as turkey and chicken. Any shellfish. Any meat such as beef or pork. Eggs cooked in any style including fried. Cheese. Vegetables. Herbs and Spices. Fats and Oils. Low carbohydrate beverages including diet soft drinks.

Please, notice one thing - that fruit does not feature on that list at all! Yes, later phases of the Atkins diet do allow limited amounts of fruits such as cantaloupe and lemon juice, and the pre-maintenance and maintenance phases do even allow small quantities of grapefruit, but when judged in comparison with the amount of Grapefruit recommended on the Atkins Grapefruit Diet there is a massive difference.

The Atkins Grapefruit Diet suggests a cup of grapefruit juice or a cup of grapefruit sections, with 8 and 18 carbs respectively. Even the most liberal phases of the Atkins diet suggests limiting consumption to below 8 carbs per day, when it comes to grapefruit. That's a direct contradiction from one plan to the other.

Most sensible people would have a look at the Atkins website itself the moment they heard of the Atkins Grapefruit Diet and when they found no mention of that diet on their site, a red light would flash and an alarmbell would ring.

In general, remember that any plan that relies very heavily on one type of food, such as grapefruit in a grapefruit diet, is unhealthy for any but very short periods. The Atkins Grapefruit Diet is not associated with the Atkins diet, and could interfere with the results of the Atkins diet, especially in its early phases. - 24553

Features You Need To Think About When Purchasing Travel Coffee Mugs

By Richard Millwood

If, like many people, you commute to and from work, you may find that the trip is a lot easier if you have coffee you can take with you. It is also much more affordable for you to bring a mug when buying coffee on the go. Rather than deal with the small, flimsy and spill-prone cups you are given, travel coffee mugs can be the way to bring the perk back into your morning and the spring back in your step.

If you have been looking at various travel mugs, you have seen the range of materials they can come in. Travel mugs are available which have been made of plastic, glass, ceramic, stoneware and stainless steel. The plastic mugs are much less popular now that people have been hearing stories on related health problems. Some plastics, when heated, can release toxic chemicals. They are also available in many different sizes. Travel mugs often start at about a 12 oz size and can range anywhere up to a mug that can hold 22 or 24 oz of liquid. This should be more than enough to get many people through a long day at work.

Of course, even a large mug can keep drinks very hot if they are insulated properly. Some of the best travel mugs have double walled construction to provide the necessary insulation. There is a pocket of air between the inner and outer walls and this is what keeps the drinks from cooling off too quickly. However, not all mugs can be put in the dishwasher without ruining the insulating qualities.

The next thing you want to make sure is that your travel mug is easy to clean. The lid should be easy to remove and the wider the opening is the easier it will be to clean the interior. If you want to clean your travel mug in a dishwasher you need to make sure that it is dishwasher safe so that cleaning it that way does not damage the insulation.

The lid on your travel mug needs to be easy to open, remove, and seal properly. It should also be drip free since there is nothing worse than having coffee or tea leak on your suit while on the way to work. Ideally, your lid should be easy to open with only one hand. This can be especially important if you are planning on drinking the hot beverage inside while you are in the car, or if you are moving it around with your other hand full.

The shape of the travel mug's bottom is also critical if you will be putting the mug in a cup holder. Most cup holders are a fairly standard size, although some cars have cup holders that are a different size. Although a wide bottomed cup holder can be handy to prevent it from tipping and spilling a wide bottomed mug will not help you if you are driving in a car or van where there is no flat surface to put the travel mug on. If you are unsure about whether the mug will fit, look for specific mention of it in the description of the mug before you buy it.

There are other unique travel mugs that you can use to transport hot beverages. There is the standard thermos, which many people like because it can hold quite a bit of liquid and keep it warm for quite some time. One of the more interesting products on the market is the French press. This is a coffee mug with a specialized lid that allows you to brew coffee or tea right in the mug. The mesh press pushes down and strains the loose leaf tea or the coffee grounds which can result in a superior hot beverage that is fresh and truly gourmet.

If you love coffee or tea, a travel mug may rapidly become indispensible. By choosing the right one you can find that your hot beverages taste better and your day is just a little bit brighter. - 24553

Waffle Recipe: Help Yourself To One Of America's Favorite Foods

By Ben Cook

Using the right waffle recipe ensures that you will succeed in making something to relish at breakfast time. To make the waffle you must first prepare a batter that will consist of sugar and oil as well as flour and milk as too eggs that will need to be poured into an iron. This iron has certain designs in it that help to make the iron radically different to a normal iron which is normally used to iron out our clothes.

The iron that is used in a baking waffle maker will have a unique design that resembles a honeycomb and furthermore, each waffle maker is available in a variety of shapes. This means that you can choose a particular shape that can be anything like hearts, cones and even cloud-shapes. In any case, the iron in the waffle maker will have its own crisscrossing pattern that is made up of raised divisions.

Another important issue in regard to creating the perfect waffle is that you have to be particularly careful about the amount of butter or oil that is to be used in creating the batter. Too much or too little oil can lead to creating inconsistent waffles. In case the waffles start to stick to the maker it is then advisable that you add some more butter or oil.

As you start using different waffle recipes you will soon come to learn that you should make an effort to separate the egg white from its yolk. This will help you to cook up waffles that are fluffy and white in color as well as very light. Adding beaten yolks separately to the batter's wet ingredients is recommended after which you can beat the white of the egg until it becomes stiff and then you can add the whites of the egg separately to the batter.

Next, remember to use the right waffle maker and if your existing one has aged don't hesitate in going out to buy a new one. The older models will not have the right kind of non-stick surface which will then make cooking unnecessarily difficult.

Put all this in a bowl that is heatproof and then mix cream with chocolates that have already been chopped. Add to this some boiled water and set the mix on low heat. After that you have to whip up the mixture until the mix thaws out. Next, you can remove the bowl from the heat and then remove the boiling water and also beat up the mixture till it turns soft. Allow to cool and stir the batter once in a while until the mixture returns to normal temperature.

In another bowl you can beat some egg yolks as well as some milk till you see it has mixed well. Sift some sugar and cake flour as well as baking powder and salt in a medium size bowl. Once the chocolate mixture cools down to room temperature you can add some ingredients (dry) along with mixture containing milk and egg yolk.

Once you have found the right waffle recipe it is then up to you to do things in the right manner. This in turn means remembering to respect your waffle maker, separating the egg white from its yoke, and most importantly you must not mix the batter in a violent manner. Remember also that even if you do not have any buttermilk on hand you can still; with the help of an appropriate waffle recipe concoct a very decent waffle. - 24553

Stock Up For the Holidays on The Best Retro Candy

By Audry Trebler

Reminiscing about the good ole days of adolescence brings back a lot happy memories. Playing ball in the yard, staying up late at a friend's house, or maybe family road trips spring to mind. One souvenir in particular that brought a grin to my face was reminiscing about when my friends and I would pick out our favorite candies from the corner candyshop.

Current day sweets just don't seem the same. There is something about retro candy that makes us all just grin. Moderncandy do not compare to candies like : Teaberry gum, Necco wafers, Boston Baked Beans, root beer barrels, or Abba Zabba. Each one of these tasty sweets makes us think of different happy childhood memories.

Since many of those candies are now not sold in stores it got me wondering, wouldn't it be great to celebrate these retro candy favorites? One idea that came to mind was to buy a bunch of old fashioned candy from the internet and have a celebration with a retro theme. With the holidays coming, this could be a great. Not only does candy serve as a great treat and decoration, but also it is the ideal conversation piece.

When guests see some of the candies they have not tasted in years they'll have to try some. Everyone seems to have a tale of their favorite childhood candy. An alternate way to celebrate with old fashioned candy is to send it as a present. There are websites that sell old fashioned candy by itself or in bulk that's smartly arranged into a present basket. What a way to offer a salutation to a pal or any one else.

There are some gift boxes that have about fifteen different kinds of retro candy that many of us haven't seen in ages. The best part was trying each retro candy and reminiscing about those times as a kid. Who would not be thrilled getting some of their old time faves as a present?

We like old time candy not only for the memories but also because it tastes good too. Kids these days still get a kick out of gum cigarettes, circus peanuts, gold mine gum, or perhaps rock candy.

These are some of many ideas to bring back some great retro candy. Whatever your preference of candy it is just plain fun! More than just eating candy, nostalgic candy provides stories and entertainment with buddies, kids, neighbours, or fellow workers. Give it a try and expect a real giant smile! - 24553

A Look At The Senseo Coffee Machine

By Jack Delrento

The new revolutionary way of brewing coffee is the Senseo Brewing System. Phillips have come up with a way to alter the method that we use to brew coffee forever. When you are exhausted and can barely open your eyes, it will become much easier to make that much needed, first cup of coffee.

Within 30 seconds, the Senseo coffee machine will make you a cup of coffee without leaving your kitchen a disaster. You will actually have more time to enjoy your coffee by cutting out the time it takes for your coffee to brew.

In fact, not only is the Senseo coffee machine efficient, but it is also a great multi-tasker capable of making coffee, cappuccino, and tea. You can even decide how much coffee you want in each cup; just select three, four, five, six, eight, or ten ounces depending on the size of your coffee cup.

No scoop, grounds, or filters are needed, as the Senseo coffee machine uses self-contained coffee pods to make loading the system easy and neat. A pod is placed in the coffee maker, and it will serve up the ideal mug of coffee each time.

There are a few items that you first need to buy before you can begin making your chocolates. Most stores that sell art ware sell the moulds that are required for chocolate making and there is also a wide variety to choose from catering for ever special occasion like Valentine's Day and much more.

There are three different ways in which you can melt the chocolate down either by putting it in the microwave or into the oven or else the best way is using a double boiler. When he chocolate has melted you then need to pour this into the moulds and should you be adding fillings then only fill each mould up half way add the filling and then fill the mould to the top with chocolate again.

Once you have filled all your moulds up make sure there are no air bubbles if there are just bang the tray on the table gently till the bubbles have disappeared and then refrigerate. Once the chocolates have set you can then remove them from the moulds and can either pack them into a box or pack them into a bottle and they are ready to eat. Kitchen Showrooms: A Wealth of Ideas

By Matthew Kerridge

Taking a trip to visit several kitchen showrooms is a great start to remodeling your current kitchen. Thinking about all the options of lighting, flooring, appliances, style of cabinets, countertops, and wood finishes can be perplexing. You want to choose wisely so that your finished room will be comfortable, stunning, and exactly right for you and your family.

A professional kitchen planner will ask you to think about your life-style and how you cook. Do you mainly cook for your family, or do you like to entertain? Do you want a traditional kitchen where you can work alone, or an open floor plan where guests can sit and chat? The specialist may chart your present plumbing, windows, doors, and electric outlets on a sheet of graph paper. If you entertain you may want to install a second oven, an island, and perhaps a small sink for meal prep in the island.

Kitchen showrooms feature a huge range of available options on countertops and cabinets. Granite, synthetic stone and laminate are some of the popular countertops. Open-fronted, glass doors, and solid doors are some choices in cabinets. They come in matte black, pure white, and every color in between. Oak, maple, walnut, and pine are some of the wood finishes you can choose. Built-ins such as appliance garages, plate racks, vegetable bins, wine racks, and corner cabinets with spinning shelves are some of the options available.

Hardwood floors, either real wood or one of the new excellent laminates, are a trendy look for today's homes. Linoleum, both in sheet or tile, is popular, too, and comes in a wide range of styles, colors, and price options. Brick, slate or polished concrete are more unusual, but still interesting choices. Ceramic tile is a classic and beautiful alternative, and is available in many colors and finishes.

Appliances such as dishwasher, refrigerator and stove are also offered by many kitchen showrooms. Refrigerators range from small and basic to family sized, with three doors, freezer on the bottom models, ice and water in the door, etc. Ranges also come with different features. There is a wide variety of colors and finishes such as stainless steel, black, and traditional white. Appliances are usually purchased in the same finish to enhance that seamless look.

Lighting is an integral part of the kitchen decor, and kitchen showrooms have a dazzling display. Track lighting, central overhead lights, spotlights, ceiling fan and work area lights are some of the types of lighting, but these basic types come in a striking range of styles to suit any decor. Traditional, retro, contemporary, and modern designs are all represented. Browse the displays and you'll find the perfect light for your kitchen.

Each small detail of a new kitchen is important. Take advantage of the specialists at kitchen showrooms, and let them teach you about the elements of successful design. Wander through the sample kitchens, and let your imagination run wild. Choose from the extensive selections of cabinets, appliances, and lighting displayed, and fulfill your vision of the perfect kitchen. - 24553

Cambridge Diet Review

By Tad Stephenson

One of the more successful, but controversial, diets for the morbidly obese is the Cambridge Diet. This popular UK diet is designed only for heavily overweight individuals, and it's one of the most well known very low calorie diets.

The Cambridge Diet is a weight loss plan that is designed with the dangerously overweight in mind. This is a very low calorie diet that is designed primarily to help the grossly overweight lose a lot of extra weight fast.

This eating and weight loss plan is a tiered dietary system that begins as a very low calorie diet at the very beginning and slowly builds up the calorie levels until it reaches more of a maintenance level. The first level involves all Cambridge Diet supplements like porridge, shakes, soups, etc. With each tier the dieter gets to eat more calories and add more food as the weight loss continues.

Any dieter who is seriously looking at the Cambridge Diet needs to consider several things before committing to this eating pan. The first consideration is medical supervision. While this weight loss plan is used quite often in the UK, it is only done with proper supervision to make sure dieters remain healthy throughout the entire process.

Another consideration is how hard this diet can be to follow. Many dieters are going to have an extremely hard time sticking to a mere 450-650 calories a day. If you don't think you can handle this, then this diet isn't going to be able to help you because you won't be able to follow it.

Controversy remains around the Cambridge Diet. There are some nutritionists who are adamant in their arguments that the earliest tiers of this diet simply don't offer enough calories. Another problem related this very low calorie diet is the concern over muscle loss or crashing metabolism.

That being said, there are still plenty of defenders of the Cambridge Diet. The most defended point of this weight loss plan is obvious, which is that there are thousands of recorded examples of this diet helping morbidly obese individuals losing a lot of pounds.

The Cambridge Diet is going to have its fans, and it is going to have its detractors, as well. While arguments and controversy might continue, there is little argument that this weight loss plan can work for badly overweight individuals. - 24553
